How do I find Tay at the airport or my hotel?
For airport pickups, I will be waiting at the arrivals exit holding a clear sign with your name. For hotel pickups, I will waiting in front of your hotel 5 minutes before your scheduled time. I will also communicate with you via WhatsApp so we can stay in touch in real-time.
Is the $25 airport transfer fee per person or per car?
The $25 fee is per vehicle (not per person), accommodating up to 4 passengers with luggage. This is a flat, transparent rate to ensure you avoid the stress of negotiating with taxi queues upon arrival. I believe in fair, honest pricing from the moment you land.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Don’t worry! I will do my best to monitor your flight arrival in real-time. If your flight is significantely delayed, I will adjust the schedule accordingly and will be there when you land, at no extra cost. Your stress-free start to Cambodia is my priority.
Do we need to pay for the tour in advance?
No deposit is required for most bookings. You can pay me in cash (USD or Cambodian Riel) at the end of your trip or transfer. We prefer building a relationship of trust with our guests—you pay once you are safely and happily at your destination.
Can Tay help us plan our temple itinerary?
Absolutely! While we offer set packages for the “Small Circuit” and “Grand Circuit,” I know customers like customizing routes. Whether you want to avoid the crowds at sunrise or visit a remote jungle temple like Beng Mealea, I will help you design a schedule that fits your pace and interests nicely.
How much does a guide cost at Angkor Wat?
A licensed, English-speaking temple guide typically starts from $40 per day. While I am your personal driver and local expert, Cambodian law requires a specific license to provide historical guiding inside the temple ruins.
If you would like to dive deep into the history and archaeology of Angkor, just let me know. I can personally arrange a trusted, certified guide to join us.
